Personal projects

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me doodling animals or dreaming up passion projects. I’m super passionate about animal welfare, so a lot of my personal work is packed with playful critters. I’ve worked on a few fun side projects, like designing animal welfare awareness buttons and creating a whimsical board game called Muffin’s Magic Kingdom. It’s my way of mixing design, storytelling, and a whole lot of heart (and fur). 🐾

Animal welfare awareness buttons

I illustrated and handmade a batch of animal-themed buttons and handed them out to strangers in Golden Gate Park — all in the name of animal welfare! Each button came with a card featuring a list of amazing animal rescue organizations I’ve supported over the years. If you’re interested in showing some love too, click the “Whiskers and Bristles” button up top and join the cause!

Support animal shelters

For the past couple of years, I’ve loved supporting Cat Town Oakland, a local cat shelter close to my heart. I’ve worked on window graphics, merch stickers, and social media illustrations—all to help these amazing cats find their forever homes.

Muffin’s Magic Kingdom

I teamed up with Nick Cuplin to bring Muffin’s Magic Kingdom to life—a board game inspired by none other than Muffin the cat!

The game features seven kingdoms, each based on Muffin’s wildly entertaining personalities: sassy, curious, hungry, stinky, sleepy, needy, and crazy.

I designed the MMK logo, packaging, and all the whimsical illustrations. This project was an absolute blast! Scroll down to meet the legend herself—Muffin the cat.
